WAIT TIME And other stuff you need to know
|
We don't breed as many puppies as some larger scale breeders because it's important to me to give each puppy personal individual care and attention which wouldn't be possible if there were too large a number of babies at any time.
All Rutlands puppies come from extensively DNA health tested parents and leave us groomed trimmed and freshly shampooed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, regularly wormed, crate trained, collar trained and well socialised. You can see the DNA Health Testing results in full on this website on the breeding dogs page.. |
WAIT LISTS HAVE A LIFE OF THEIR OWN and their length has very little to do with how long you will have to wait. For example, if you choose more than one colour, and are open to either boy or girl, you will overtake others who only specify one colour, and insist on one gender. Mother Nature has the final say! Puppies are individuals too and the nature you want, could be different from what someone else wants even though the colour and gender could be the same. Rutlands has gained its enduring popularity and trust because we care about matching the most ideal puppy to your individual lifestyle and situation. We are not a production line factory breeder who sells puppies on a first come first served principle.
CAN WE CHOOSE OUR PUPPY'S PARENTS?
It's better if you don't! I have intimate knowledge about what particular 'bloodlines' produce when blended with certain others. If you choose the parents there's always the chance that none of their children will be what you really want or need. Then you miss out on that litter and you will be waiting longer than you need to be. So please trust me to give you the closest possible to your dream puppy, who can easily be born to different parents than what you expect.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT PUPPY FOR ME?
Experience counts when I select the puppy I believe is best match for you and your family and I love it when I always hear back "you couldn't have chosen a more perfect puppy for us". |
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T LIKE THE PUPPY YOU OFFER US?
First, we'll ask you why. If you still don't want that puppy, you'll be offered another puppy from the same litter if available. If not, you may defer to the next litter and your deposit or part payment will transfer.
If you're not ready to receive the puppy you're offered when he/she is able to come to you, you can defer to a later litter. Your deposit and any other payments you might have made are transferable to another puppy when available but are not transferable to a different person.
Allocations of some puppies in a litter can take a little longer than others while we observe them closely to be sure in our own minds that we are selecting the best matched puppy to your own unique situation and lifestyle. Please don't try to hurry us along because these are decisions we take very seriously. A happy owner equates to a loving life long home for each of our precious puppies, barring some unforeseen family situation.
How to book a Cobbeagle Puppy
The process is exactly the same as it is for our MDBA Registered Cobberdog puppies. So pop on over to the Rutlands Australian Cobberdogs website where you can see how it works. |
